SNJ-5C for Flight Simulator 2004
Navy version of T-6 Texan, with arrestor hook for carrier qualification. This particular example hangs in the Naval Aviation Museum at NAS Pensacola.Repaint , panel mods by John Detrick.

Original model by, AU-MAV. This model was originally made for CFS2, but it works just fine in FS9. The original panel bitmap is by Johan "VIPER" Lemmers. I just touched it up a bit and used the default DC3 gauges to make the snj gauges. I borrowed the comm and adf radios from another freeware program, I don't know who the original author is, so thanks whoever you are. The SNJ-5C was an SNJ-5 (T-6D) with a tail hook installed for carrier qualification. The tail hook is completely functional with this model. You may notice that nav equipment is a bit lacking. That's because there really wasn't too much in the way of nav equipment installed in these aircraft. This aircraft works just fine with the Flight Deck III aircraft carrier program. I usually depart from NAS Pensacola and find the carrier, then have at it!

Installation is pretty straight forward. Place the gauges in the gauges folder in your main fs9 gauges folder and the folder marked SNJ-5C into your main fs9 aircraft folder.
